After China: the future and the road ahead

Looking back in the book, I describe a quieter period of local shows, records and videos after the China tours. In 2022, Punishment Park came together at Hulen for a final concert with old friends and songs we had first played decades earlier.
Looking back while writing the book, I could see that the China years had overshadowed other work. K-Jell still played occasional shows in Norway and made videos, while Attacked By Fish, Punx, Rain & Rats appeared in 2016 as a limited red-vinyl album. I had ideas for another album, but described them as wishes for later, dependent on time and readiness.
Punishment Park reunited for one concert at Hulen in Bergen on 1 October 2022, 22 years after our last official show. The night began with the Dynasty theme and Apology, then moved through the catalogue before Anja Samsonsen joined us for Helt blind med et sykt sinn. We got the ending we wanted: the band was finished, while the friendships and mutual respect remained.
