2009 kam das erste Album „Refreshing Power“, und erstaunlicherweise erschien das in China und wurde dort in recht hoher Auflage gepresst – kurios.
Ox is the big German punk fanzine. Joachim Hiller scored the album 7 of 10, "rundum gelungen", and the China detail he found curious is exactly how the whole K-Jell story started.

Wer seinen Punkrock eher melodiös liebt – das Debüt verglichen wir damals (etwas hoch gegriffen) mit COCK SPARRER und RANCID – ist hier genau richtig, „Narvesen“ hat echt was von „Riot squad“. Schickes blutrotes Vinyl.
Narvesen is Roaren’s song from way back. We covered it as a surprise at his 50th birthday at Garage, and it ended up on the Norwegian side of the album.
