Norway’s K-Jell on the “East meets West” Norwegian/Chinese label October Party are a mind numbingly catchy, poppy punk band that is one of the best kept secrets of our time.
Refreshing Power was made with China in mind and came out there in March 2009 with a first pressing of 10,000 CDs. Razorcake finding it meant the record had reached the American zine readers too.

K-Jell is sort of what D4 would sound like if they had some streetpunk influences. Brilliant. Just plain fucking brilliant.
Art Ettinger wrote that about songs we recorded in Duper Studio and finished in the basement at Jostein’s place. Not bad for a solo project that was only ever meant to be one EP.
