Real Punk Rock Music Is Not On The Radio

In 2018 a new idea fell into my head. Somebody had to make an album series that caught a piece of the punk scene we have here on this pile of rocks we call Norway. So what do I do then? I do Real Punk Rock Music Is Not On The Radio Vol. 1 to 10.

Vol. 1 came out with a bang in May 2018 on green vinyl. Vol. 2 became punk reality in December 2018, smeared out on red vinyl. Vol. 3 saw the light of day through blue vinyl in April 2019, Vol. 4 was cast in pink in November 2019, and Vol. 5 came in February 2020 on sun-yellow vinyl. Vol. 6 followed in September 2020 on purple, Vol. 7 in May 2021 on orange, and Vol. 8 in January 2022 on crystal-clear vinyl. Vol. 9 was released in December 2022, and Vol. 10 closed the series in June 2023 on gold vinyl.

All ten records were pressed in 500 copies each on October Party Records, and that was it. The idea this time was that the bands share the records between themselves when they come out. That way the vinyl went fast out to people, got sold all over Norway, and quickly became records that collectors ask about, in Norway and outside it. Roughly one album every six months for a good six years. My own bands run through the whole series, K-Jell on every volume, next to friends like Greenland Whalefishers, Anti Social Rejects and Blödbüse.
